Vintage Sweet Sue Doll 21" (American Character) Hard Plastic Silk Dress

Vintage Sweet Sue 21"  Doll by American Character.  Made in the 50’s. She is made from Hard Plastic.  I believe her Silk Dress may be an original outfit for this doll, but there is no confirmation of that, other than seeing several more Sweet Sue dolls online with the same style of dress.
The dress and underwear are in very fragile condition, with several stains and holes.  But the fabric is amazing, in spite of that.  It drapes so beautifully! The netting on the front of the dress is in extremely delicate condition.  Her underwear has been repaired at some point (with red thread, no less!)
Her accessories include stockings, shoes and a pearl necklace and bracelet.  (No idea if these are original or not, but the only piece that seems newer than the doll & dress is the necklace.)
The body, head and hair appear to be in very good condition, but somewhat grimy.  There seems to be a faint ink mark on her forehead.  (The photo emphasizes it more than in real life, I think.)
